mikaela's birth story

I love you baby girl and I always will...

And wished i was warned about somethings like my feet would swell after the c sections and getting a epidural may cause you to end up having to have a c section anyways on with the story...

My pregnancy was a dream never did have morning sickness had a little nausahness for 3 weeks never had really any complications God truly brought us through...

I was 34 weeks and had went to the doctors for my weekly appointment they put me on the stress test to listen to the baby's heartbeat and my contractions well i was having a lot of them like 7 in 15 minutes so i was sent to labor and delivery to be checked and i spent the afternoon there i did not even feel i was having them..and they sent me home..

From 34 weeks and on i was having bracton hicks contractions they where not as strong enough that i was concerned about them and my Dr was not really concerned about them..

well November 20Th i was feeling some contractions a little stronger that night i was woken up with some they still did not seem strong enough to go to the hospital we were suppose to go to a thanksgiving dinner at church but i was not feeling that great and for me to say that i must of not felt good well i thought i should go to the hospital to get checked we were half way there and the contractions stopped so we turned around and went to home depot so i could walk then they started up again..so we left and headed to the hospital well i was in what they call the treague room and was being monitored and checked every hour i was 2 cm at that point they would not let me leave my poor husband had to sleep on the floor that night lets just say neither one of us got ant sleep and i did not get my lunch so i was so hungry..well my Dr was not on call he was out of town so Dr c was and he decided to go ahead and amitt me and start potican to help my labor along i hated it every 20 mintures they would push it up so it got stronger i addmitt iam a wimp when it comes to pain it was 7am when they did the I've which i hated so they waited til about 12pm and started the potican about 2:30 i got a epidural now that was fun it was the weirdest feeling in the world i was not progressing like they wanted me to i was only at a 2 still so they broke my water to see if that helped mean while my blood presser dropped so low that i was feeling sick and like i was going to pass out...them my Dr came about 5sh checked me and i was a 3 and gave me a little while to she if i would progress more he came back and i was still the same and said he wanted to take me for a c section it was the scarist thing to be wheeled into an operating room with out my husband or my mom being preped for surgery then they brought Jon in it was weird being numb and only feeling presser my heart stopped when i heard my little angel cry...i only regret not being able to hold her right after birth but got know....Thank you for all your prayers as my Dr said she a miracle baby..

well it is only a matter of days or weeks i wish she would get here already..Iam sure unconfortable..God is good to geyt me through this pregnancy well I pray the labor and delivery will go well and quick...Thank you for all your prayers...

Here I am Just Waiting..

Sorry it has been so long since i have posted..well Iam 36 weeks pregnant time sure does go by fast..here is a picture of my at one of my baby showers..I was 7 months along my pregnancy has been great never imaged it would be like this...God is good thanks for ur prayers..So now we are waiting to see when she will arrive...

cuteness

Well I have now soaked in that we are actully going to have a little girl.I really thought we were going to have a boy. So i go to walmart there is so much cute stuff you could go crazy and broke buying baby stuff...never knew there was so much stuff for baby...so iam enjoying shopping and getting some stuff..

I can't wait to hold her and look at her.....God sure is good to us...we thought this day would never happen....

5 months and feel huge..

Well it funny how you dreamed of being pregnant as a little girl and nothing has happed like you thought it would..it a really easy pregnancy really did not have that much morning sickness so that was good and feeling less tired then i was...i have several friends who are exspecting a child around my time 2 of which this is there first child and they have felt the baby already and my baby is being lazy cause have not felt him or her...the time sure has flew by cause iam already 5 months...thanks for your prayers...please contiue we will find out what we are having on July 10th we are so excited....

Choices

As before we got pregnant I did not realize how many choices or decisions we would have to make before the baby was born...I was told that at week 15 they would do a blood test to check for down sydrome and some other tests..and I think they do that so you could get an abortion well that is not a choice it sad how many abortions girls have now a days..We have decided not to take the blood test cause we are not going to abort the baby.Jon had surgery 2 weeks ago friday to take the nail head out of his back he said to me last night that it has stopped hurting like it was...Well we will find out soon what the baby is..can't wait .....Iam 13 weeks and feel a little better then i was it hard....God is so good to us...We hope our next appointment to hear the babies heartbeat through the drobbler I think it called...

Baby bump...

Well here is pictures of my bump Iam not showing much but thought I should take some pictures..my bestest friend got me that shirt Iam wearing I love it..Iam 12weeks today..hard to beleive that Iam 12weeks it seems like a long time for some reason..God is good..Had a great 1st mother's day..may God bless you all...

the blessings of our lives

Well God is so good well here is our baby it still so early to see anything..but I heard a strong heartbeat that was so neat to hear..They changed my due date to the 21 of november...so this one will be our thanks giving blessing...we we are doing well seems like a lot is going on....Iam going to ladies retreat this weekend and then next weekend a baby shower seems like a lot of babies will be born this year will we are blessed to be part of that...

We are pregnant!

Well God is good...I had just given up on the idea of being a parent cause it seemed like it was not happing for us so we got another puppie cause i said to myself well i need to be a mommy to something..and then 2 weeks after getting him we found out we are pregnant. well we have a lot of work to do on the babies room so it will be such an exciting time for us. tomorrow I go for my first ultra sound really excited about that..am trying not to gain to much am watching what i eat...please pray for my health and the baby's health....for the next 7 1/2 months...

Puppy love part 2.

Well I often wonder why things happen in life why we are put through these trials...well on thanksgiving we went with my dear friend and her family to Idywil leaving our our puppy in the yard..thinking he know the yard cause he spent the 1st week with us there my friend and I nursed him back to health since he had parvo God healed him and then our puppy ran away and we never have found him...I still wonder what ever happened to him..Well December 9th we went to the shelter and Got snickers who is the best dog there is...we felt that she was lonley and needed a playmate so saturday we got another miniture pincher puppy we named him roscoe but this time we put an E on it.He is a great puppie.

Life

Well it is hard to beleive that it is in the middle of january....well we have been struggling with this or maybe it just been me.Jon want to change churchs to the evangelical free church it have been going there since the middle of oct it is a good church it funny how afraid of change i sometimes am..I guess God is leading us to do that.we help in the bread ministry and am looking to get involved in morethings they have a class that Jon and I have been taking at a friend of ours house on tuesday evening to help your marriage our marrige is fine but it does not hurt to take it .it is call Love and Respect i urge you to take it ,it is a really good course..God is good...I upload a picture of Jon and i from last april i love it...

happy new year

Happy New year everyone I hope you have a really great year...This past year has been a year that had a lot of changes for us ,which is good.God has blessed us with another dog her name is snickers she is about 1yr old rosco never did come home.We are hoping 2 get another puppy in april or may but not quit sure on that yet. it seems like January is alawys so buzy for us...It seems like we are always on the Go and it seems like we have only like 1 evening per week to be together sometimes it hard..but we hope things will slow down soon..
